Character Consistency Nightmares
Maintaining a consistent character design across multiple AI image generation sessions can be a major challenge for digital artists and creators. Every new session often results in subtle (or drastic) variations, making it frustratingly difficult to develop cohesive visual narratives.
The Solution: Leveraging Your Visual Foundation
I recently discovered a new model within the Google AI Studio framework that looks very promising! Go to this link and select the Gemini 2.0 Flash (Image Generation) Experimental model on the right.

This Google AI studio model allows you to build “Scenes” that can use the same character consistently. For example, I described 2 scenes to generate these images:

Now, how about that!
However, one limitation of using Google AI Studio right now, is that it does not offer any memory of previous chats (bummer!) But here’s a practical method for ensuring character consistency despite that limitation:
✅ Save Your Generated Images – After each session, store your best images locally. These will serve as your visual reference points.
✅ Use the Same Model – When you want to resume your project days later, upload the same reference model and ask it to use the same AI model to maintain continuity.
✅ Reinforce Your Visual Chain – By consistently building upon previous outputs, you create a visual lineage that strengthens character uniformity.
I actually tested this out. I uploaded an image from a previous session and asked it to build on the scene.

By using this method, you’re not starting from scratch every time. Instead, the AI "sees" what you've already established—maintaining style, proportions, and artistic continuity in a way text prompts alone simply can’t achieve.

Picking the Right AI Model for E-commerce in March 2025
If you're in the OpenAI ecosystem, you've probably noticed that we're at peak model confusion! Every prompt requires choosing the right model, and it’s not always obvious which one to use.

AI models are evolving in multiple directions at once:
Bigger & Smarter – Large frontier models with more parameters for deeper knowledge.
Better Reasoning – Models that break down problems and self-prompt for accuracy.
Self-Checking – AI that re-runs outputs to detect hallucinations.
Distilled Efficiency – Smaller, cheaper versions of big models with targeted strengths.
Fine-Tuning & Specialized Features – Custom training and scheduled tasks.

The Best Default? GPT-4o. It’s the balanced choice—fast, subtle, supports images and voice, and has built-in short reasoning. Unless you need something deep, wide, long, or specialized, GPT-4o is your go-to.
What’s Next?
Sam Altman has hinted that GPT-5 will unify this mess, but until then, picking the right tool for the job is part of the game.
