Use Claude.AI for Building Simple No-Code Apps for you!

This is not just an example of a simple app I built with Claude. It is an example of what is possible and where things are headed, where 8 year olds are literally ideating and building apps for things they love and need.

If you haven’t heard it, Artificial General Intelligence is JUST around the corner, and the more you put off getting your hands dirty with AI, the more vulnerable you are making yourself and your business to get left behind. If you can simply follow the steps I outline below, this alone will give you the practice to break into a new mode, a new you. Ok, let’s do this…

So, I build a multi-timezone dashboard for my global team in under 10 minutes using AI. After struggling with existing time zone tools that just did not fit the bill, I decided to take matters into my own hands. My goal? A custom multi-timezone dashboard that gives me a clear, at-a-glance view to compare my time zone with that of my team members across the globe in real time. The result is a sleek, visual interface that:

  • Displays everyone’s LIVE local time and working status in one view

  • Makes meeting planning across time zones a breeze

  • Has the ability to manually select any time in the future

  • Lives as a simple HTML page that can be saved as a Chrome bookmark

Here’s How I Did It

I chose Claude AI as my coding partner, because it appears to have superior intelligence than ChatGPT 4o1 model. I entered a much simpler prompt at the start but then at that end of a few iterations of how I wanted it, I asked the AI to give me a fresh prompt describing exactly what the prompt should be in case I want to use it again and not have to go through the back and forth.

I need help creating a web-based time zone dashboard for my global team. I want it to:Show each team member's current local timeDisplay their location and roleIndicate if they're in working hours (9am-5pm)Allow selecting different times to plan meetingsAuto-detect user's local time zoneHave a clean, modern UI with individual cards for each personThe team is spread across multiple locations: RJ-Vancouver, RT-Australia, GS-Japan, NK-Sweden, PR-Philippines. Can you help me create this using HTML, CSS and JavaScript? The priority is a clean, professional design with intuitive usability. Please include Moment.js for timezone handling. Output as a downloadable HTML file that I can bookmark.

Click to watch how quickly Claude.AI generates code:

In the bottom right corner, click on Download to file. This will give an HTML file.

Click on the HTML file and it will automatically open in your default browser. Then you simply add that to bookmarks, so that each time you want to run the app, it’s just a bookmark away.

What could have taken me days or weeks to develop was finished in a fraction of the time. Claude AI handled the heavy lifting—writing and debugging code—while I focused on refining the features and design to suit our team’s needs.

The best part? It’s not just functional, it’s practical—saving us hours of back-and-forth scheduling and time zone confusion.

Time to Unwrap Santa’s AI presents 🎅

This holiday season, Santa’s bags are packed with AI magic, and let me tell you—it’s a total sleigh ride for the future of e-commerce. Let’s unpack this, shall we?

OpenAI’s 12 Days of AI: Projects, Canvas, Sora

Forget gift cards—OpenAI is serving up ProjectsCanvas, and the game-changing Sora. These tools don’t just let you create; they let you dominate. Hollywood-level content, real-time monetization, and a way to turn every pixel into a potential storefront? It’s the ultimate “get on my level” moment for anyone in the creator economy.

OpenAI’s "Projects" is a productivity game-changer. Think structured folders for your chats, files, and notes—organized and accessible. Add seamless team collaboration, integrated file management, powerful search, and customizable details, and you've got a tool that keeps you and your team sharp, focused, and efficient.

AI Shopping Assistants Are Everywhere!

🔶 Rufus, now generally available to holiday shoppers in the U.S. and select countries, isn’t the only AI shopping assistant making waves this season.

🔶 Walmart is testing a similar chatbot, offering it to a limited number of shoppers. The nation’s largest retailer is focusing on categories like toys and electronics, enhancing the shopping experience with AI-driven recommendations.

🔶 Meanwhile, Perplexity AI has introduced an exciting new feature on its AI-powered search engine. Shoppers can ask questions like, “What are the best women’s leather boots?” and receive unbiased, specific product recommendations. The San Francisco-based company emphasizes that these results are not sponsored, setting a new standard for transparency in AI shopping tools.

But Here’s the Bigger Picture...

AI is detonating the e-commerce landscape. We’re not talking tweaks; we’re talking a complete teardown and rebuild. These tools aren’t just about smoother shopping—they’re about collapsing the gap between trend creation, product discovery, and instant commerce.

You want a pair of boots? AI doesn’t just show you options—it predicts your vibe, finds your size, and delivers it faster than Amazon can say “Prime.” Meanwhile, creators are turning their micro-communities into thriving economies, bypassing traditional retail altogether. A $75 trillion revolution is brewing—and it’s not coming from legacy brands. It’s coming from individuals and communities armed with AI.

Matt Kostan just snagged the top spot in the 10Ă—5 Hack Contest with a brilliant AI hack for training Rufus to showcase your products on Amazon. 🚀 This is a MUST-WATCH if you want to stay ahead of the AI wave and dominate e-commerce.

Matt breaks down 12 Common Sense Relations you absolutely need to add to your product listings to ensure Rufus fully understands and highlights your products effectively.

I won’t spoil it for you—go check out the video and see the magic for yourself!
